2012 BOYS STATE HIGH SCHOOL & WCHA TOURNAMENTS


Easton AAA Hockey teams are the "official" cleanup crew for the
2012 Boys State High School Hockey & WCHA Final Five Tournaments at the XCEL Energy Center.  In exchange for about 1-hr of  cleanup between afternoon and evening sessions of the tournaments, participating AAA families get a FREE DAY PASS to watch all the games that day & evening.  In addition, most Easton AAA Teams will have icetime at the XCEL April 2nd - 4th.  This is  EXCLUSIVE for Easton AAA Hockey Players and Families - our way of saying THANKS for being part of Easton AAA.


Spots are Limited & Fill Up Fast - To Reserve Your Spot, contact Brad Burke at aaaraider1@gmail.com with the names of your Volunteers (Family Members Only) and the Date you can volunteer.  We will confirm your spot via email and by posting volunteer names on the "Official" XCEL Cleanup Volunteer List posted on-line.

 - Wed Mar 7th (Class A Qtrs)
 - Thur Mar 8th (Class AA Qtrs)
 - Fri Mar 9th (Class A & AA Semis)
 - Sat Mar 10th (Finals & Third Pl)

OPEN TO ALL EASTON AAA TEAMS: WCHA
- Thu Mar 15th (WCHA Quarterfinals)
- Fri Mar 16th (WCHA Semifinals)

INSTRUCTIONS / ANSWERS TO FAQs


1) GET ON THE LIST - You Must be on the Official Volunteer List to participate in the XCEL Cleanup and get your Free Day Pass (wristband).  This list is provided to XCEL Gate 1 Security.  
Please check to make sure your name is on the List to the RIGHT ------>

2) CHECK-IN - Once added to the List, volunteers will need to check-in at Gate 1 Security Desk (near Hockey Lodge) anytime before the Check-In Time on the day of their cleanup to receive their Wristband / Day Pass.  Volunteers can Check-in as early as 10:00am to attend the morning / afternoon games.  Check-In Times are as follows:

 - Boys HS Tournament:  Wed, Thurs & Friday - Check in by 2:45pm
 - Boys HS Tournament: Championship Saturday - Check-in by 1:45pm
 - WCHA Final Five:  Thurs & Friday - Check-in by 3:45pm

3)  CLEANUP INSTRUCTIONS - Instructions on when/where to meet for the Cleanup will be handed out as you check-in.  Typically Volunteers will assemble at the Top of Section 101 immediately following the final afternoon game and will be provided further instructions at that point from XCEL Staff.  Cleanup lasts approx 1 hour.

4)  SEATING - Your Wristband / Day Pass allows you General Admission Seating anywhere in the XCEL Center.  Seating suggestions will be provided by XCEL Security and/or Staff.  You can enter and exit throughout the day via Gate 1 Security.

5)  SUPERVISION - Please Supervise your Children to ensure a fun and safe event.  If your son/daughter is not old enough to be on their own, and a Parent cannot make the Event, please make arrangements with another parent or your coach for proper supervision.  Easton AAA Hockey does not provide chaperoning for this event.

Please Note:

1)  This Event is for Easton AAA Players and some immediate Family members (No Friends).  Space is limited and Easton AAA reserves the right to limit the number of participating family members so as to provide enough opportunity for all Easton AAA Players to attend.
 
2) For Wed, Thur, & Fri Games you should be prepared to take your Son/Daughter out of school early and allow plenty of time for Travel & to find Parking (possibly 5-6 blocks from the XCEL).
